A Mediterranean cuisine staple, Bentley Seed Green Globe Artichoke thrives in long, mild growing seasons but can also grow as an annual in cooler climates. In warm areas, colorful flower buds appear year-round. After flowering, cut the plant back to the ground to encourage new growth.

Planting Instructions:

  • Start seeds indoors 12 weeks before the average last frost date.
  • Transplant outdoors after 4 weeks, ensuring protection from frost.
  • Space seeds 3" apart and plant at a depth of ½".
  • Harvest buds when they are closed. After the first harvest, side shoots will produce smaller bonus buds.
