Grow Perennial Swamp Milkweed to help save the endangered Monarch Butterfly.
Monarch numbers and milkweed plants are down 90% from what they once were. Milkweed plants are the only source of food for the monarch caterpillar. Make a difference by planting milkweed!
Also called Rose Milkweed, this variety features beautiful pink flowers that attract a wide range of pollinators. Plants grow 36–60" tall.
Direct sow in late fall or spring. Cold stratify seeds for 30 days prior to spring planting. Start indoors 7–9 weeks before the last frost. Transplant into 4" pots after 3–5 weeks, then harden off and transplant to well-drained soil.
