Sunflower, Wild - Bulk Seed

A classic American wildflower, the Wild Sunflower is an ideal choice as a habitat plant to nurture the native pollinators! Bees and butterflies love the nectar-rich blossoms and birds forage on the seeds in the fall. Can be planted in late fall, or provide 30 days of moist-stratification prior to planting in spring. Sow when danger of frost has passed. Cover seed 1/2" deep in prepared soil and pack down firmly. When plants are 3" tall, thin to 18-24" apart. Water during dry periods. Full sun is best.
