Brown Jeera Cumin
Ground or whole seeds add great flavor to Mexican and Indian food. Great for digestion. Use the ferny leaves in salads. Cumin requires a long and warm growing season. Grows well in extended warm season areas.
Direct sow in well-drained soil, or start 6-8 weeks before last frost in container you plan to use outdoors.
Avoid lodging (plants falling over), by planting seeds close together for support. Thin smaller sprouts. Seeds are harvest-ready when plump and have turned a dark tan.
