Anyone can be a superhero by honoring our Earth! A good way to start is to plant our oh-so-popular mammoth sunflower seeds. A good time to do it would be on or around April 22, 2020 which happens to be the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Not only will these sunflowers add beauty and cheer to your landscape, they will attract and provide sustenance to important pollinators.
Planting Instructions -
Start seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost in your area. After the danger of frost has passed, transplant the seedlings to a prepared garden bed, 18” apart. Bloom season: summer to fall.
