What kinds of wildflowers do you sell?
We have several mixes available for various growing conditions. (See mixture breakdowns.) Please contact us for single varieties or custom mixes.

Will the wildflowers grow in my geographic area?
All of our standard mixes include varieties that will perform in most areas of the United States.

When should I plant my wildflowers?
In northern areas, early spring is best. In southern areas, a fall planting may be a better choice. Contact your local co-operative extension service for more detailed information in your specific location.

Should I plant grasses with my flowers?
For large areas in which you want to achieve a meadow effect, you can include non-competitive grasses at low seeding rates. Certain types of fescues are recommended. In smaller areas or garden settings, most people prefer flowers only.

Will my wildflowers return every year?
Our mixes include re-seeding annuals and perennial species. Climatic and geographic conditions will affect your planting's long term performance. Overseeding the area when it becomes "thin" is recommended.

How do I maintain my wildflower planting?
Wildflowers need very little care. Hand weeding is recommended as well as watering during extremely dry periods. Fertilizing is needed only if soil is extremely poor.
